I just found the following thread:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/618332-re-entry-and-appeal-for-visa-after-deportation/page-2

My situation is about the same as this Belgian writer. About 10 years ago Italian police was looking for me. Since they learned that I was in Thailand they have asked to the Thai immigration/police/airport security to inform them as soon as I would board on plane departing Thailand without stopping me.

Back in Italy my case has been processed and judgment has found me innocent from all the charges.

The difference with this Belgium member is that I was not stopped by immigration or police (upon Italian police request).

I now wish to return to Thailand and I am afraid I might have been blacklisted without knowing/being informed.

How can I check that point?

I was thinking about asking for a Visa since I thought tat they would automatically check the blacklist before issuing a visa, but I have read across the web that this is not the case. It seems that you can be given a visa and then be stopped at immigration because you are on the black list.

How to proceed for knowing for sure if I have been blacklisted or not.?

Getting a visa certainly is no guarantee that you are not blacklist.

The company can check with immigration for you about any blacklisting or alerts you might have on your records for a fee of 2 to 3000 baht. http://www.thaivisaservice.com/

Thanks. Contacting you.

Unless you were deported at the request of your embassy, I doubt that you will be blacklisted!

If your country requested to be let known of your movements that should not cause mandatory blacklisting as that is normally done and you are informed at Immigration Detention.

Being arrested and deported to your country by your or the Thai government is a legal ground for blacklisting.

I think you meant them not you. I have nothing to do with that company.
