Three Brothers Arrested After Fatal Sword Attack

Following an argument during a wedding party with an allegedly drunk cook on National Road 6, three brothers were arrested after killing the cook with a sword at around midnight on Tuesday evening in Russey Keo district’s Kilometer 6 commune, according to police.

The three brothers, Hen Chanthon, 28; Hen Chanthoun; 18, and Hen Chanthin, 21, stabbed Khat Sopheaktra, 31, who was working as a cook at the group III, Spean Khpos village wedding.

Teang Chansa, Russey Keo district police chief, said the suspects used a half meter-long sword to stab Mr. Sopheaktra in the left ear. He died on his way to the hospital.
