BTV fibre optic in Maprachan area.

Does anyone in the Maprachan area use BTV fibre optics?

I have been with BTV for 6 or 7 years now. I know they have had problems in the past so have all the other suppliers.

For the last 12 - 24 months the service has been "OK" and I've had few complaints!

I have become to think that now with all the "movie streaming" etc. at times the download as been far from good and I was wondering if the installation of fibre optics to my house would make any difference.

I have been told that their fibre optics cable runs past the front of my village so I presume it's just a matter of running a cable from this.

I have tried to ask at their office for prices but I think I would have more success pulling teeth!

So, if anyone is using fibre optics in my area could you please tell me what price you paid for installation, how much per month/year you pay and if at the end of the day the cost is worth what you now receive?
