Iran Reportedly Exported 7 Million Barrels Of Oil In 2 Days

Iran said Thursday that it exported more than 7 million barrels of crude oil in two days, a volume not seen in several years. Iran's Press TV quoted Pirouz Mousavi, the managing director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC), as saying that the 7.1 million barrels of oil exports were made over the past few days via the Kharg terminal, located in southern Iran.

4 million barrels were exported to Europe and the remaining 3.1 million barrels were exported to "Iran’s traditional clients," (mainly in Asia) Mousavi said. He added that Iran’s oil export terminals are able to host 9 tankers simultaneously for loading oil.
