Looking For English Tutor For My Tgf In Central Bkk

Featured Replies

My TGF is in her early 30s, and like most farm girls only completed minimum schooling.

She has picked up a lot of verbal English from me and the TV in the years we've been together, but now it's time for the next step. She has mentioned going back for more formal schooling but learning how to study again is step one.

One-on-one tutoring is mandatory --- she's just not ready for a schoolroom environment yet.

As a friend said, there are hundreds of English schools out there --- we want to avoid the ones with great marketing departments and mediocre teaching programs.

We'd be very grateful for any recommendations or references you might have.

Thanks

CB

You're joking right? The last one to trust your TGF to be alone with would be an english teacher. :o

My g/f is coming over next month so she has been going to English lessons. They are one on one with a Thai but from the sounds of things shes not learning much. To be honest though, its only 2000baht for 20 hours so I can't complain. So, as you are already aware, one on one with a falang teacher is the best way to go.

There is an English teachers group forum in this website, I'm sure you will get some good advice there
