Washington (CNN)A federal judge paved the way Tuesday for possible future subpoenas by the State Department against Hillary Clinton and her longtime aide Huma Abedin.

Judge Emmet Sullivan granted a motion in a lawsuit against the State Department Tuesday that could pave the way for future action including, potentially, an order that the State Department subpoena Clinton and top aide Huma Abedin to obtain personal emails they withheld from the State Department.

Well Abedin may be a Muslim but must certainly be 'progressive' in that case as she is married to a Jewish guy - non other than Anthony Weiner the guy who was in the sexting scandal in New York (?) a while back. Why do you label Abedin as a 'Muslim' rather than what she is - close aide to H Clinton? Do you label any of the current Republican candidates as fanatical Christians rather than by name? It took a long time for that to become public. Up until now I though that Hillary used a "private" server with classified emails on it, which is a crime. Now I find out that her close aid, a Muslim also had access to and used that server.

In an attempt to enlighten the unenlightened (my Publicus imitation), permit me to provide a few links that you can read and satisfy yourself as to whether Huma has had any affiliations with the Muslim, or extremist Muslim, community during her life and career.

I would only ask you save yourself and any readers some time by not attacking the source, but rather, attack any information you find to be dubious. My sources are, admittedly, conservative in nature.

Surely if it is so dubious as to raise doubts, there are bound to be sources that support any opposing views you might have. Please post them as well.

It's her links to the Muslim brotherhood, not just that she is Muslim. Hillary has been enthusiastically cooperating with the OIC in its attempts to create universal blasphemy laws contravention of the first amendment.

When I see in the headline that a judge "inches" towards possibly issuing a subpoena maybe if and only but, I right away picture a snail crawling over a document where ink is drying.

Very cautious double rubber judge there, "inching" towards something as radical and game changing --not-- as a subpoena is or could be maybe if only and sometimes variably.

When I worked for the feds in employment discrimination law I as a non-lawyer (investigator) got a subpoena anytime I thought I needed one just by taking the filled in form to the office director for a little chat. Enforcable in US District Court it is, as this judge well knows. An inch at a time.

Maybe possibly could be perhaps the subpena might be ready for the 2017 editions of Breitbart and Faux among others but only if.

State Department officials will withhold two emails from the batch of Hillary Clinton's private records set for release Monday but none because they contain "top secret" material, spokesman John Kirby said.

The agency will withhold one email between Clinton and President Obama, bringing the total number of undisclosed emails sent back and forth between the two to 19. It will withhold another email at the request of an unspecified law enforcement agency, Kirby said, although he noted the email was not classified.

Email Undermines Hillary’s ‘Unmarked’ Classified Info Defense

A Hillary Clinton email released on Monday shows the former secretary of state questioning whether she had been forwarded classified information in an unmarked email, suggesting that she was well aware that classified information can be classified regardless of if it is “marked” or “unmarked.”

In defending against critics who say she improperly mishandled classified information on her personal email account and private email server, Clinton has said that she did nothing wrong because none of the hundreds of classified emails she sent or received were “marked” as such when they were created.

But an email she sent to two of her aides on April 25, 2012 shows that she was concerned that it contained classified information, even though it had no markings suggesting it was.
