Use the search facility in the link -----------

https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/search-for-a-thailand-doctor

Search under the specialism of "Orthopaedics". The Drs will be listed and you can see what their qualifications, experience and interests are.

A consultation will cost 1-2000 Bht but X-Rays +/- CT/MRI scans will add to the cost.

Thanks for the info...Bumrungrad is one of the most the most expensive hospitals in Thailand....Im looking for a less expensive option.

Do you speak Thai or have a Thai friend or GF/wife to go with? If not, government hospitals will be difficult to navigate.

Maybe try Phaya Thai (still expensive) or BKK Christian (less expensive).

Lots of posters also suggest St. Louis but I was only there once about 6 years ago so can't add too much.

Dr. Mason at Bumrungrad specializes specifically in shoulders and is IMO the best shoulder specialist in Thailand. https://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Mason-Porramatikul

he also has privileges at Phyathai 1 (though not regular hours there) so should surgery be required, having it done by him there might be an option and would certainly save money.

Another option would be to try to see the following at the Chullalongkhorn Hospital after hours clinic (clinic nak wela)

Prof. Somsak Kuptniratsaikul

Cghula is the least expensive option but some time and red tape involved. You have to go in person to make the appointment (13th floor, after 4 PM weekdays and I think also open Saturdays - register downstairs first to get a patient number)
