donna
if cost is a huge issue, try Jinnys Guesthouse. Lovely owners, quiet, has a pool, air con etc. Highly recommended. http://www.jinnyphuket.com/ Edited October 25, 2006 by donna

staffbull
I am also in a rush to find the cheapest accomodation in Phuket. Is there anything around or less than 300 Baht ? I plan to be there 2-4 weeks, depends on if there is any decent surfing to be had. My main concern would be security, my only valuable possesion would be my surfboard. Dorm, shared room, local homestays, etc. are all acceptable. Need to make contacts as soon as possible, plannin gon being there end of August. Thanks
