Arrival at Siam Reap

Featured Replies

What's the procedure regarding VOA, do you need any pp photos etc?

How long does it normally take to complete / cost?

Also, what can I expect to pay for a cab into town?

Thank you.

HE IS ASKING ABOUTT PROCEDURE???why don't people just answer the question?

That's right self made Thai millionaires at work here.

You need photo. You need USD. You grab form and start filling in while in queue. Takes about 45 minutes start to finish. Have a Biro with you.

You can take cab very short trip. Even tuk tuk.

You will need to go to a taxi ticket counter outside the airport building and they will give you the taxi ticket. Its a fixed fair of $7 US no hassling, no special price. Around the CBD of Siam Reap its $2 US. Enjoy your stay, just get used to dealing in US money on every purchase.

You need a photo in the correct size and 30$ in good quality notes. I was through in 30 minutes a few weeks ago.

A tuk tuk cost around 7$ and takes around 15 minutes to town. Many hotels have free pickup service on request..

Enjoy your stay.

If you don't have a photo they charge a little extra, around $5 if I remember correctly.

If you have time you could get an e-visa for 37 dollars on line and save what could be a long wait if it's busy at the airport.

Just make sure you use the correct site, some charge an extra 40 to 60 dollars. Search in Thaivisa forum and you will find a few threads.

Get the e-visa (https://www.evisa.gov.kh) and sidestep 100 other people on the way to your cab. Speaking of which, if you need a great cab driver that will take care of you for your entire stay, PM me.
