Hello,

I'm currently on a multi-entry Non-O visa. The date for my current stamp is April 23rd however, I will be leaving Thailand for Japan for 3 months in May. As such, I was wondering if there was a way I could extend this visa? My date of leave is exactly 1 month and 1 week from my current stamp. Is this extendable? Is there a way I can report like non-multi entries? Can I extend by 30 days and then again by 7? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

People need to know on what basis you qualified for such a visa to answer. But no there is no standard 30 day extension available for non immigrant visa entry.

I have a Thai wife, no children. Non-O is based on marriage.

Excellent! 60 days would be perfect! Much appreciated Eclipse.

  • A 60 day extension of stay to visit your wife costs 1,900 baht.
  • You can apply within the last couple of weeks of your current permission to stay. Maybe sooner at some offices.
  • The extension will start from the end of your current stay so nothing is lost by applying early.
  • This extension is available only once per entry, but you can apply for it again for any of your future 90 day entries.

It looks like he has a Thai Wife.

Can get a 60 day extension at Immigration.

Take your Wife with you.

Or you could get a one year extension of stay based on marriage and a re-entry permit and be good to go until April next year.
