SEOUL, KOREA -- After North Korea’s latest threats of nuclear strikes against the US and South Korea, more sanctions have been announced by the south.

Seoul says 40 individuals and 30 entities suspected of having links to North Korea’s weapons programme are being targeted.

Shipping is also affected.

Lee Suk-joon, South Korea’s Minister for Government Policy Coordination, told reporters: “We’re completely banning foreign vessels that have stopped at a North Korean port in the past 180 days from entering our ports.

“We will also continue the measures prohibiting the vessels of third countries from sailing the sea route between South and North Korea.”

South Korea is also calling off a pilot project that saw Russian coal being exported to South Korea through a port in the north.

Three shipments had already been delivered in 2014 and 2015.

South Koreans are also being advised to boycott North Korean restaurants overseas.

Pyongyang made the new threats of nuclear strikes as the US and the south began large military exercises.

Why is this guy still breathing

How can there be still more sanctions?

The problem is these sanctions only hurt the general population. This fat turd and his military still eat well. wear nice clothes and have warm homes. The regular folks suffer horribly. Even China is coming to the realization that he is nutso.
