90 day reporting

Featured Replies

I was always under the impression if you applied for an extension of stay and re-entry permit your 90 day reporting requirement started again from that date. Must have changed system because now large notice on officers desk in English says it ddoesn't restart and the officer confirmed this. My friend also got told same recently. Looks like only time 90 day reporting starts again is when you re-enter the country.

You are correct sir.

  • Some IO's will reset the 90 day report when you renew an extension of stay, but unless you are given a new date you should report 90 days after the last report.

Yes the 90 days resets to day 1 on re-entry.

Only the first extension of stay counts as a 90 day report. It has always been that way.

From immigration webpage for 90 day reports, http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php?page=90days

"5. The first application for extension of stay by the foreigner is equivalent to the notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days."

Some immigration offices will do a report to reset it when you do an extension. Unless you get a new report receipt and date it has not been done.

Thanks folks. Guess I was under wrong impression. Did my last 90 day report on line last time. Completed the application at 9pm on a Sunday night and got approval email by 11am next morning. Very impressed. It's good the reporting is becoming less of a hassle and a trip to Chaengwattena. ☺

90 D on line seems not working....i had to go to the office.......and there NongKhai it was confirmed that the site had run into troubles.

that was a week ago

The site is available, up and running

I have just checked !

Perhaps there is a local problem with the internet in your area.

It was down for a couple of days last week. Put the request prior to down time received approval 1 week later. Thought it had failed. Best to try 15 days prior do give you some leeway.
