Crewman dead after Russian superyacht accident off Phuket

Bulgarian crewman Toni Hristov Kolev, 33, died after sustaining fatal injuries while the Russian billionaire superyacht Ocean Victory was raising anchor off Koh Tachai, north of Phuket.

PHUKET: -- The Bulgarian crewman severely injured in an anchor chain accident on board the 140-metre superyacht Ocean Victory yesterday afternoon (Mar 13) has died from his injuries.

Govt grants Thai citizenship to stateless scholarship students

BANGKOK, 14 March 2016 (NNT) - The Ministry of Interior has instructed local offices to review student rosters of educational institutions to establish the number of stateless students and determine who may be eligible for Thai citizenship.

Burmese Mahout Dies After Elephant Tramples Him at Elephant Nature Park

CityNews – On March 11, rescue teams and local police in Mae Taeng were called to Elephant Nature Park after a Burmese mahout who had recently visited the centre in search for work and to meet with his brother, was trampled in the veterinary enclosure where a rescue elephant was being kept.
