Last week the government claimed that the situation in the south had greatly improved for the better under their watch. Obviously they lied yet again! Facts cannot be hidden for long.

Prayuth has issued an urgent command for security officers in the 3 southern border provinces to step up their monitoring against insurgent activity and protection of civilians.

And Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Gen Prawit Wongsuwan responds with a Been There, Done That Already.

Meanwhile secretary-general of the National Security Council Gen. Thawip Netniyom just reported that that strict work to combat insurgents, better utilization of intelligence and peace dialogues have proven to be effective.

Apparently, the military's most effective measures have proven inadequate to quell the insurgents violence.

Again and Again. wai2.gif
