Trump and Clinton see each other as main obstacle to the White House

606x341_327068.jpg

NEW YORK: -- Controversial candidate Donald Trump is leading the polls in all but one of the five states set to hold presidential nominating contests on Tuesday. Only in Ohio is the fight tight, that’s where he and Governor John Kasich are polling neck and neck.

The unorthodox Republican is hoping to cement his lead over his remaining rivals while at the same time taking his campaign one step further by attacking Democrat front runner Hillary Clinton.

“I’m a better person than the people I’m running against, that I can tell you. And I’m a better person than Hillary. Hillary is not good,” said Trump at rally of his supporters.

Trump’s main Republican rival now appears to be Texas Senator Ted Cruz who is trailing in second across several of the states but is emerging in the minds of non-Trump voters as an alternative candidate .

But for Senator Marco Rubio Tuesday could be make or break time. He’s polling in third in his own home state of Florida where for the first time in the 2016 nomination race it’s winner takes all Republican delegates.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton also has her eyes on the finish line directing her focus towards Trump.

“It’s not enough if you want to be President of our country to tell people what you’re against, to point fingers, to scapegoat, to blame. We are a country that lives on hope and opportunity and making the future better, than today and yesterday.”

For Bernie Sanders the race for the Democratic nomination is certainly not over . He’s hoping a large turnout will give him Missouri and narrow the gap with Clinton.

States voting on March 15
Florida primary – 246 Democratic delegates, 99 Republican
Illinois primary – 182 Democratic delegates, 69 Republican
Missouri primary – 84 Democratic delegates, 52 Republican
North Carolina primary – 121 Democratic delegates, 72 Republican
Northern Mariana Islands Republican caucus primary – 9 delegates
Ohio primary – 159 Democratic delegates, 66 Republican

What an idiotic statement to make. Sorry but this is just getting too stupid for me. The only thing standing in the way of Trump becoming President is the intelligence of the American People.

I hope Bernie can gain some ground on Hillary. I lot of Delegates to be picked up this week.

Their main obstacle to the White House is that they disliked by so many voters.

Or rather, We the People who should be represented instead of what main stream media is feeding us. I think they are underestimating the disenfranchised, want to change business as normal, frustrated voter.

Then again, what do I know? I'm just an overly optimistic Bernie supporter.

Trump would consider being able to poop bricks as an employment program.

I'm not a fond or supportive of anything to do with US politics, but I actually watched a 30-minute interview recently where DT said what I thought were realistic things about China's influence on the US economy. And as for employment, he seemed to be hinting along the lines of maybe it would be better to stop spending billions of dollars on wars in the Middle East, recognizing that the invasion of Iraq was a wrong and stupid thing to do, and instead put those dollars toward employing people to rebuild an infrastructure that needs rebuilding. But don't worry, DT haters, he will not be President for a variety of reasons. Someone who has been appropriately groomed and compromised will "lead" the USA.

Why not just acknowledge that, if Bernie was really committed to what he says, he would be running as an Independent and not as part of the very Party which is wholly owned and operated by the Oligarchs?

Trump is more of a war monger than either of the Bush's. Every chance he gets he talks of throwing the full force of the US military against ISIS. He'd likely do the same against N.Korea and/or Iran or the S.China Sea. He's so easily offended and quick-to-anger, and he's intent on the world knowing what a big dick he has...... Trump will say he won't start wars (who wouldn't say that?) ....but he will. He won't let anyone call him a pussy, but instead will go in full tilt, and it won't cost billions, but instead cost trillions. The weapons makers will love him, and heck, Trump can say he's creating jobs .....at weapons and body bag factories. Plus Cheney will love it, because Cheney owns a lot of stock in companies which provide for the military. Plus, it will send oil prices shooting up, so it's a win-win from a Republican perspective.

Trump has never killed anyone. Conversely, Hillary Clinton has the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent men women and children on her hands. It may come to millions of lost innocent lives by the time the disastrous military interventions she precipitated in the interests of "regime change" play out. Vote for whoever you want to but don't let your biases blind you to the truth.

This must be the automatic response you would have gotten from any experienced Media personality or newsman prior to this bizarre turn of modern events. He has always been considered an outrageous, caricature of a P.T. Barnum character , born with a silver spoon, and then for sure talented enough to turn a large fortune into billions, or to host a reality TV show, but never showing any signs of thoughtful discourse, policy or global knowledge, or substantive political leadership.

Though not strictly similar, it does reminds you of the wonderful Peter Sellers part he played of an idiot that could become considered for President as written by Jerzy Kosinski, and brilliantly played by Peter Sellers in award-winning "Being There."

They have a few things in common, do Hilary and Donald:

They hide secrets

They both have pretty bad breath - but that's Fk-all on a big ship

It's what's coming out of Trump's mouth that offends so many - and invigorates even morecoffee1.gif

So, you apparently think that to let ISIS carry on is the best approach, but I would guess that there's at least a few people who would disagree and gladly see ISIS eliminated using a major US assault. Then you decide that since he wants to take care of a heinous organization, he also wants to attack nations who aren't doing anything obviously heinous. Huh? It's gets stranger that you defend the Bushes (those very willing puppets) who carried out plans to cause the Middle East - US problems and clearly throw America into wars, enriching the wealth of them and their military-industrial complex cronies like the ever-lovable and cuddly Cheney. But somehow you decide that it's Trump who will do this terrible stuff that the Bushes have done? Not to be disrespectful, but I think your post is ridiculous. There's no substance to what you say.

Oh ha ha. Well so what? You think that the lowly and uneducated don't deserve representation? Too much snobby scoffing in my view.

if the Dems aren't representing them who do you think they will turn to? None other than Donald Trump. As I said previously, he's the consummate anti-politician so it will not matter what he says to an electorate that believes that the political establishment and current politicians don't give a sh*t about them but only for their own power privilege and positions. America will get the leader it deserves.

A lot of strange metrics for evaluating political supporters. What does it mean that Hillary Clinton supporters have the worst credit scores? I don't know.

You get this morning's prize for Reverse Logic. BTW, I'm fully in favor of destroying ISIS. The difference between me and Trump/Cruz, is I would do it smart. Instead of carpet bombing and N-weapons, I would get small units of well-trained specialists working side by side with Kurds and other effective fighters. Fighting ISIS with carpet bombing and nukes is like trying to stomp out a fire ant infestation by stomping on their sand hive with combat boots. Even if you kill all the ants on the surface, there are still ants (and the queen) underground, ....and other ants will move in to take their place.

So, you're saying to disregard the election/debate rhetoric from Trump, as it's not the real Trump? Actually, that fits with what Carson said when he endorsed Trump: "there are two Trumps." So now the American people, if saddled with Trump, have to guess which of the 2 Trumps they'll get each moment of his waking hours. Will it be the decent Trump, or the hothead, calling names, easily-offended, send-military-everywhere Trump?

Trump/Cruz would use BOTH airpower and special forces. According to most experts, THAT is the smart way to do it.
