Multi entry extension visa

Featured Replies

I'm getting a extension of stay based on marriage, I understand these can be obtained as either single or multi entry, can someone give me more information about the details and implications on the submission process?

After you have your extension of stay stamp you can apply for a single re-entry permit (1000 baht) or a multiple re-entry permit (3800 baht) to keep the extension valid when you enter the country.

You can get a re-entry permit at the immigration office where you apply for your extension or at most airports on departure from the country. They are available at both airports in Bangkok 24 hours a day.

If you want a multiple re-entry permit because you expect to travel at least 3 times a during the year it would be best to apply for it on the day you get your extension stamp.

OP. Reentry permit is very simple process at airport. Bring couple of photos. Just note the office at DM is just on other side of immigration and at swampy its prior to passport control
