KRABI: A large vessel commissioned by the Krabi government to dredge near the Krabi Provincial Administration Organization (OrBorJor) pier received some bad publicity this week after a Facebook user accused it of dumping waste into the Andaman.

The photos posted by the Facebook user, showing black ‘wastewater’ surrounding the vessel, quickly went viral. However, the Krabi Marine Office was quick to respond, stating that the ship was dredging the Jilard Canal to make space for more boats.

When did Krabi has its own government?

You know things like federal government, provincial government, municipal government take your pick.

FYI ~ Non-chemical, dredged wastewater (according to the Facebook poster) is bio-degradable. It is also easily avoidable, by the local marine life inhabitants.

Here's a real research topic of serious interest, to consider. Take a voyage across the Pacific Ocean. Guaranteed, you'll have an abundance of real-life issues to pursue, before having completed even the first quarter leg, between Japan and Hawaii.coffee1.gif
