When the weather is is hot and sunny all my dogs are hiding in the shade and inside a house. Not my 5 year old female Alsation. She sits in the full sun for a long time. Sunbathing? She is happy and healthy. Mind you all the other dogs suffer from ticks but she doesn't. Did she had found the way to beat the ticks?
