Extension of Tourist Visa from 60 to 90 days

Featured Replies

How do I extend my tourist visa (acquired in USA) for the additional 30 days? I'm in Bang Phli. Do I need to go to Chaeng Wattana? What are their hours? Sorry for the repetition.

There's a bus which goes to Pak Nam (553?) right past the Immigration office from outside Home Pro Bang Phli or it's about 140B in a cab from Home Pro.

Make sure you take all you need as they ain't half fussy at SP immigration and will happily see you run back and forth between home/work and their office if you don't have the correct paperwork whether you need it or not....

What does he need exactly it's a TR extension. Does he need a TM30 in Samut Prakan?

Yes, what documentation do I need to get the additional 30 days on my tourist visa?

If they are fussy, and he is not staying in a hotel, I guess a TM30 will probably be needed.

I've been staying at my girlfriend's rented condo since since early February. We have not filled in a TM30. Will filing the TM30 now cause a problem for the condo owner or me? The initial 60 days granted on my tourist visa will expire April 6. I could leave on that day but prefer to stay until April 7 due to an important event. How should we proceed?

If you will be leaving by air April 7, I would personally risk the one-day overstay. Even under the new regulations, I cannot imagine any terrible repercussions from doing so.
