Cizylle Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 HotelQuickly is currently seeking a Data Engineer who has the SQL skills to make smart queries, and the business acumen to translate these queries into useful data sets for our talented Business Intelligence Analysts to go to work on. You will work as a part of a high-energy BI unit that is integral in helping to determine the direction of our startup. What you’ll do: Work with large data sets, automate data extraction, build monitoring/reporting dashboards and high value, automated BI solutions (data warehousing and visualization). Build infrastructure and implement maintenance strategy for internal datasets. Prioritize and communicate user needs, make recommendations and drive implementation for product or process changes. Work with relevant stakeholders to deliver appropriate Business Intelligence (BI), data warehousing, reporting and analytical infrastructure required to support management teams and analysts. Design, develop and establish Key Performance Indicators to monitor the health of database assets and the performance of internal operations, providing analysis and strategic insights to drive growth and performance. What we’re looking for in you: Thai or foreign national. Two years of database-related work experience. If you don't have the necessary experience, we will still consider your candidacy if you have ROCKSTAR potential. Strong SQL skills, with an eagerness to learn about the business side of startups. Knowledge of other programming languages (Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, etc.) Familiarity with Mongo DB would be a bonus.
