I have a Navmii (formerly known as Navfree) app on my windows phone.

It works without needing a live internet connection, you just need to set up destinations before you leave.It gives turn by turn voice directions just by the built in GPS

It works very well in the UK but has anyone used this app in Thailand and if so how did you find it.
