April 4, 201610 yr To many this may seem like a bone question but please humour me. I am on my first retirement extension. In my passport I have a stamp saying it's valid unti 01/03/17 and my multi re-entry permit, also stapled at the back is a pice of paper with my reporting day 10/4/17. I am at swampy now heading to the UK but the immigration didn't remove the piece of paper with the reporting date on. Is it OK to remove this as I have now left and will I just get another one when I return? Thanks in advance for your help.
April 4, 201610 yr You do not have to report as you are leaving los. Remove it. When back make note of your entry date and if here for 90 days you need to report.
April 4, 201610 yr You can remove it if you want to. You will not get another one when your return. You will have to count 90 days from the date you enter the country to determine the date your next report is due.
April 4, 201610 yr I think you are conflating your Re-entry Permit, and your 90 Day Notification of Residence. The former is a stamp, the latter is a piece of paper. Assuming I am correct, you are too; i.e you can throw it away, as your new "90 day clock" begins when you return. (Actually, it is an 89 day clock, as the day you return is Day 1, not Day 0.)
April 4, 201610 yr Usually the 90 report slip also has a stamp that shows the next report date. But "10/4/17" does not make sense. Does it look similar like this:
April 4, 201610 yr Keep it though for your next report in Thailand! Just slip it back in your passport and report 90 days after you reenter Thailand.
April 4, 201610 yr Keep it though for your next report in Thailand! Just slip it back in your passport and report 90 days after you reenter Thailand. I agree with that. To do your next 90-day report in Jomtien without filling out any forms, I think they need to scan the bar code on the paper they stapled into your passport, don't they?
April 4, 201610 yr I just leave mine in and immigration rips it out, it's no bother to me leaving it in.
