johnny1966 Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 A friend is Russian, married to a Russian, living in Thailand. Their son was born in Thailand, 8 months old now, holds a Russian passport. johnatong Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) The child, If born in Thailand, does not need a visa. When the child leaves the country (using the birth cert, + passport ) a visa will be needed to return unless only a short stay is intended.
