james.d
My wife had a new battery fitted into our truck (Mazda BT 50) today as the original one died. Now I just realized the windows do not fully open / close with one press, tis needed to hold the button. Any advice? Thank you in advance, James.d
pontious
If it is computerized in any way try running the car for a while to see if it resets.
IMHO
Keep holding the button down for 15-20 seconds after it's reached the bottom - that should then program the correct stop point.

james.d
If it is computerized in any way try running the car for a while to see if it resets. The truck was driven 1 hour into town then 30mins back... Keep holding the button down for 15-20 seconds after it's reached the bottom - that should then program the correct stop point. Tried this both with engine off and engine running...still the same. Thank you both for your thoughts.
Jdietz
go to each door window switch, lower it a couple inches, then close the window while holding the switch in the UP position until you hear 2 clicks. This resets the windows. Edited April 5, 2016 by Jdietz
hkt83100
With my Opel the procedure was ignition off, hold both buttons down to close (only front power windows), ignition on, after 5 seconds release the buttons. This reboot enabled the safety stop on close and the auto running again.
