dru2
Can anybody kindly recommend the best store in Chiang Mai for a wide selection of quality office chairs, please? I have tried Homepro and Global House but was not unduly impressed. Is there an office furniture specialist I should try? Many thanks in advance. villagefarang
If I were you, I would buy online from Bangkok and have it shipped. At least that is what I did several years back. I ordered from these guys http://www.thehonest.co.th/index.php?op=contact
JeffChiangmai
I found one I liked at OfficeMate. Baan & Beyond also had some interesting options. Plus, those two are right next to each other behind Central Airport, so you can check them in one trip.
Popular Post CharlieH
Just dont buy anything with plastic in the arms or legs, over (quite a short) time they will fall apart !. Go up in price slightly, to have metal arm frame and legs, you'll be gad you did. (IMHO and experience).
JaseTheBass
As above, Office Mate have a reasonable range for budget stuff. For decent 20k leather chairs there's an office supply store within Index that has some nice stuff. Can't remember the name, but I got my chair from there, albeit the Udon branch. Popular Post Mekong Bob
I just ordered an office chair from Bangkok: the Herman Miller Aeron ergonomic office chair. I spend a good deal of time (probably much more than others) sitting in front of my computer, and I am determined to invest in the very best chair available. Others have different priorities and different budgets. Just my thoughts.

I'm up to 300,000 imaginary baht after only 5 minutes of perusing.

MadMac
Look into some businesses going out of themselves, they are all over. If you have local contacts ask them, they may know someone who knows who knows. That's how many things work here. People <deleted> themselves up all the time and internet cafes or other pseudo office enterprises seldom last longer than 6 months. Get their stuff. Hope you will make it for a bit longer. Let me know when you have really nice chairs for sale....LOL

Never had a problem with it (not the chrome model featured). I am leaving back to USA in June... and will be selling then. If you are interesting and can wait, give me a shout and you can come over and see it. Brand new in BKK they are pushing 40K for the lumbar support ones like mine. I will be selling for 20K or best offer... in mid june

Looking for something super comfortable under $200 from Amazon I don't know what Amazon credit has to do with anything, but you can get an O.K. office chair on promotion (floor model) from Office Mate in that price range ~ 6-7.5K THB.
