Whats with the ring road street lights from Tesco to Chaweng Noi ?

Some times one section ON , another part dark . Next evening all OFF , but ON in the middle of the day !

Are they controlled by the same bloke at samui cable who forgets to put on the second half of the movie

They have some new ones on the junction going to lam-din market from the ring road. I went past there yesterday and they were all flashing amber on every direction

I saw them working on the new lights today. Of all the places that need a traffic light that was the place. It is a nightmare trying to get out of Lamden Market area at that intersection. Good work to whoever Thai approved that.

It was always fun getting out of there.

Eventually what you have is a buildup of impatient motorbikes and so everyone just makes a run for it even though its not clear, thus forceing oncomming traffic to slam on their breaks and wait a min for the bikes to clear.

Now if they could spend 30 mins and fill in the 2 HUGE holes in bophut we would be that much better..

I think the OP was talking about street lights not the traffic lights & by the way they were working last sunday morning & they have the count down timer on them too.Great for the bikes a GRAND PRIX start lol .

when I was at the lamdin interesection last time the signal was just flashing so it does change anything. (at least not until they switch into the correct mode)

Maybe some coyote girls to liven up the party for the new traffic lights, or is that too much asked for? Where's the Pooh Yaa Baan when you need him..........
