WL Toys - quadcopter or helicopter

Anybody know of a repair shop for these flying toys in Pattaya or Rayong?

Easily damaged, but no use contacting the Chinese manufacturer.

Several are available on Lazada, but not any use for repairs.

Thanks

The sell Phantoms in the old Tukcom, ground floor at the back. Maybe they can do or they can direct you to someone who does repairs?

wl toys v944 parts - Buy Cheap wl toys v944 parts - From Banggood

I got parts for a WL Toys helicopter from this site.

They were cheap but they took about a month to arrive from China.

If you cannot do the repairs yourself it may well cost you more than the drone/heli is worth for someone to do the repairs for you.

I did my own repairs but there is no way I would repair another model from WL Toys. They are cheap and nasty and not made to last!

If you still want to go ahead and get someone to do your repairs then go to the "Indoor Sports Stadium" on Soi Chaiapruck about 09.00am.

There's a Thai guy ( Git ) who turns up about that time to fly drones. There's 2 or 3 guys flying drones on the right hand side of the driveway as you approach the stadium. One of these will be Git or they will know where and when he'll be there.

Best of luck!!

In front of Friendship supermarket (south Pattaya Rd), look for the "Option-D" shop. They have a lot of parts for most brands and yes - they do repairs.

Thanks, fellas. Sorry for delay in replying, as I forgot I had posted this request. Know of both places and will let you know if it gets repaired. One of the motors goes on as soon as the battery is connected!

Which model do you have?

I bought the model Puma heli.

It worked for all of 5 mins. Then the rear motor packed up.

I also discovered the rear frame was broken!

I bought a new motor from China and fitted it as well as a new frame.

Again, it lasted about 5 mins. now the rear motor is intermittant so the model spins in a circle.

I've come to the conclusion that the speed controller is at fault!

A review of the model on the site where I bought it said "if it doesn't work, it makes a great paperweight!"

That just about sums it up!

I will stick to flying model airplanes.

On the weekend of May 11th.- 14th. there is a model flying show being held at the rear of the indoor sports stadium on Soi Chaiapruck (sp)

You will be able to pick up a new model from one of the stalls!
