Thai girls' "looms"

Yes with one girl I spent some time with she was happy to come to my loom. But, although I never asked to go, I had the feeling her loom was strictly out of bounds.

They're normally too ashamed of the dumps they live in.

Not to mention, don't want all their neighbors to think they're hookers, cos they hang out with foreigners.

And they might be sharing a loom with their Thai bf/husband, he won't want you there.

I have visited a couple of looms....but interestingly the gal and i were always the only ones there...never saw anyone, not even a neighbour. None of them had cooking facilities....but they were clean.

Any man items around that were left in haste?

Many, many girls do not have a Room of their Own. Indeed many Thais find it nearly impossible to sleep alone. So you will find rooms with sometimes as many as 10 in a room. Some Mama Sans will provide the room. Yes there is then the problem of "brothers" ie. husbands and boy friends, let alone babies. They will also tend to congregate in apartment blocks with other girls they work with and girls from the same Province.

If you spend 8 hours or so a night on high heels wrapped around a pole or propping up a bar you don't have much energy for anything else. The Malls are popular because they have air-con. Life in a bar is by no means all bad as you have plenty of friends, though most bars do not treat the girls well. A customer is a bonus.Never mind all the myths about endless farangs dishing out 10s of thousands of Baht. Life is pretty tight.

When I travelled from BKK to Ubon I spent a few nights with my GF in her sister's room. We had nice time together all 3...

When we planed to travel to Chiang Mai she said we would live in her brother's room... I canceled the trip whistling.gif

Usually is what they say. Just a small room. Enough for a bed and a wardrobe. No cooking area whatsoever. Often no windows, certainly no air con. A combined toilet washroom with a dunk bucket for washing
