Royal Thai Embassy Singapore - Info on Non Immigrant O Visa Applications

Featured Replies

For those it may concern.

Today I was at the Thai Embassy in Singapore for a passport application for one of my Daughters.

I have taken a picture of the notice placed on the notice board with regards to Non Immigrant O Visa applications.

See the attachment and note item 6.

Basically a Non Immigrant O Visa application can only be processed in Singapore if the applicant is in receipt of any kind of residency status in Singapore (eg., Employment Pass, long term visit pass, etc).

At the bottom of the notice it is quite clear that the Embassy will not entertain applications without the applicant holding any kind of resident status listed in item 6.

This may not be new information to many, but for those that were unclear before - now you know.

This is correct and they have been doing it for many months already.

None-B-M is also only available for Singapore PR, Singapore citizens or holders of a Singapore employment pass/residence status. The Thai Embassy in Singapore and KL have almost the same type of rules for applying O/B-M visas.
