Is Yangon a good place to get a Single entry tourist visa?

Featured Replies

Hello

I got 2 visa exemption entries to Thailand (not back to back) and will now try to get a SETV. Is it easy to get a SETV in Yangon? Or is Penang recommended?

(already traveled to vietnam, laos and cambodia so will try something new)

You would be best advised to apply for the visa in Penang.

You should have no problem getting a SETV from Yangon but Penang would be the recommended choice.

If you do apply in Yangon (which should be OK, but for which there is limited experience) please do post here on your experiences.

Not a TV, but had no problems getting an ED Visa about 3 years ago. As I recall, 1 or 2 day turn-around.
