Thailand Visa Requirement

Featured Replies

Is Visa required to travel from UAE to Thailand? and what are the requirements ?

It depends on your Nationality and reason for wanting to travel to Thailand.

  • Depends on your nationality.

Nationals from UAE can get a 30 day visa exempt entry (no visa needed).

If you do not want to tell us your nationality, the Wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Thailand, summarizes Thailand's visa policy quite well.

Visa on arrival costs 1,000 Baht and gives 15 days.

Hey Meena,
As per the information provided by you, yes u'll be requiring a visa to fly to Thailand from U.A.E
Following are a list of documents which the tourists need to carry with them while travelling to Thailand:
  • Passport with a validity of six months or more.
  • Return/onward journey air travel ticket in the next 15 days
  • A passport size photograph (4x6cm)
  • Boarding card of the arrival flight.
  • Duly filled application for Visa on arrival. The form would be charged 1000 Thai Baht, which can be paid in Thai currency only.
  • Hotel/stay address in Thailand.
  • Hotel booking voucher
  • Tourists are expected to carry Thai or other currencies or ATM/debit card with a balance equivalent to 10,000 Thai Baht per person or 20,000 Thai Baht per family.

I hope this will help you out.
