lonewolf99
I tried to find the Thai word for maintenance and came up with this list... strangely they all seem to be words that resemble the sound of a garbage truck hitting other cars... http://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/the/thai-word-for-5b30e2c5ecb965cd571ebe6fa56b9b1db7e21ae4.html

PETERTHEEATER
Odd that the truck had only one brake, There is, usually, one on each wheel. Unless......yes, the footbrakes must have been ineffective for some time so the driver was using the handbrake......
tubby johnson
Isn't there an anchor they can chuck out of the back of runaway buses and trucks? It ought to be mandatory in Thailand.

swerver
Thailand - brake failure capital of the world. In the western world and even Japan brake failure was taking care of with DUAL Master cylinders (for years now all vehicles come with Dual Master cylinders) in case of one master cylinder loosing its hydraulic brake fluid the other master cylinder still works the other half of the brake system. But in case of Thailand there isn't much that can be done because PM no that does not stand for Prime Minister it stand for PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE a word Thai language is completely VOID of. In case of Brakes if you have lost hydraulic brake fluid in half the Brake system in Thailand there is the overworked word in the language "MAI PIN RAI" and just keep going till the rest of the brake system fails and you are having a crash that stops the vehicle. Mai Pin Rai.
