10 million baht for a governor to make a foreign visit. Who is he visiting, the man on the moon?

The general shouldn't be thanking him for canceling the visit but should be interrogating him on how such a visit could possibly cost so $285,000US dollars.

Is this like government army employees who sit on chairs and do nothing to help the police but get overtime pay for doing nothing. Start with these stupid over time bills for the military government workers who do nothing but want to look important.

Umm....unnecessary like going to the UN in New York? And with the hundreds of billions being thrown around by this government for dozens of mega-projects, why worry about a few million extra for travel!

the Submarines and High Speed trains are carry over from the Shin Dynasty. or have you forgotten. There are many projects which were started but were never carried out because of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. Every project since 2000 have had the Shin hands in the cookie jar.

All the more reason they should be willing to drop it. Perhaps only color that matters is colors of money. Elites don't become elites on base salaries. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss......
