April 14, 201610 yr I'm heading to Penang next week for a new Non-B Multiple Entry Visa. Most info I could find on this site is more than 2 years old .../... therefore this question. I've never been to Penang before, (last time I did this is 9 years ago when I applied in my hometown,... ) and I'm getting conflicting information. Anyone with a recent experience? Please no hearsay. Do I now (as company director) need both an employment contract and an invitation letter? If yes, does anyone has a template or sample? All my other documents should be in order, just a bit worried about those 2.
April 14, 201610 yr As I recall multiple entry Non B visas are no longer available anywhere in the region. You can only get a single entry. If you want a multiple entry Non B, you need to apply in your home country.

If you want a multiple entry Non B, you need to apply in your home country. That's not correct, multiple entry Non B is available outside one's home country. Some places may restrict it to residents, but others won't. And I'm not talking only about Penang, Malaysia here, where a valid WP with 8 months validity is required. April 15, 201610 yr Besides the 8 months validity remaining on a work permit to get a multiple entry non-b the other requirements can be found here: http://www.thaiembassy.org/penang/contents/files/services-20140508-110623-169095.pdf
April 15, 201610 yr Never had any problem getting the non-B ME visa in Penang in the last seven years. I bring all documents stated in the post of ubonjoe and get half of them back because 'no need', but I bring them anyway. The invitation letter can be written by any other shareholder/director of your company, and probably even by yourself if your are a director /shareholder of the company. Really easy to do by yourself, no need for agents. Penang/ Georgetown is a very nice place. ps. I've read somewhere on the forum that there is some construction going on so better check if they are open on the day you want to visit. Edited April 15, 201610 yr by ikbenhet
