BANGKOK: -- Surat Thani police have arrested a cheating murderer who chatted to a cleaning girl online before meeting and strangling her to death.

He said he did it when she threatened to expose him to his wife by posting a photo of them together on Facebook. He stole and sold her gold jewelry before returning to the body and calling a friend to help him dump her, Thairath reports.

The corpse of 28 year old Natnicha (or Naen) Hormklin from Chumporn had been found tossed in a field of ploughed earth ten days ago. She had been strangled with a t-shirt and tossed in the field. There were tire tracks and signs of dragging near the body.

Surat police announced the arrest of Attaporn (At) Rutichot, 22, Sunday. The Thasala, Nakorn Sri Thammarat native was charged with murder. He has admitted his guilt and was taken on a three location reenactment of his crimes.

Also charged is Urapong (Mia) Sawatdee, 28, a friend of the murderer from the same area who denies charges of receiving stolen goods and concealing a body after death. A Toyota Vios was also taken into evidence.

Attaporn said that he chatted to the deceased on B-Talk. He went to pick her up from rentedpremises in Ban Kung and later took her to a resort where they had sex. Attaporn said that when she threatened to expose him by sending a photograph to his wife on Facebook he strangled her with an arm hold before finishing off the job with a t-shirt.

He said he stole her gold necklace, ring and bracelet selling them before returning to the body in the resort also in Ban Kung. Then he said he phoned his friend to help him dispose of the body in the field.

Lets hope he never gets out of prison (if found guilty), some deserve to die there

Surat strangler? Bangkok basher? Chang Mai choker?

I don't believe she threatened him. Murder-robbery, plain and brutal.

No knives or guns used in this killing of another innocent woman...he should get a humanitarian award for changing the landscape of criminal homicide in Thailand...

What a scumbag.

Never understood when crimes of passion are committed, the killer goes ahead and commits other crimes as well....

I doubt he intended to kill her until she threatened him but stealing her valuables tells me he is evil through and through..

My guess he is an opportunistic criminal that they need to look into his past...and will find other crimes as well....

no remorse whatsoever and she had bird brains as well...stupidity on her part played a huge role...

Lets hope he never gets out of prison (if found guilty), some deserve to die there

Lets hope he suffers big time at the hands of other prisoners

Did they test him for drug use? Methamphetamine makes people horrible.

was he military or police?
