Reservation for Driver License

Hello,

my GF went to Department of Transport (opposite Soi Sukhumvit 62/1,) today because she wanted to apply for a Thai Drivers license. She got refused and been told to apply online first. You have to register yourself to make an appointment to make the drivers license test. We are trying now for hours to figure out how to do that. Someone can help?

thank you for the link. We tried it. It says that the next available date is on July at our nearest DLT. Someone experienced the same? I guess times are over for to just a go test how it was 2-3 years ago when I did my test.

I just tried to register with my passport number & it wouldn't accept it (Thai ID only). Looks like foreigners can't use this service, ergo can no longer obtain a driving licence...I'll go in person on Monday & ask them.

Could you ask what if a farang had a 5 year drivers license and i lost it, it expired a year ago. I remember it was expiring on my 35th birthday... What should i doo. Should i pass the test all over again or what . Sorry to hijack the thread

Expired for more than one year, less than three years:
