webber4
hello there, I was wondering if anyone has any feedback regarding this airline...are they reliable ? Do they cancel flights? any other major negative issues ? I am contemplating between this airline and 'Nok Air' which is a bit more expensive. Thanks a lot. Asiantravel
Service on Nok Air far better I have never flown on Nok Air but I have been on Thai lion air to Udon and was very satisfied with their service and reliability. But I fail to see how you can say it’s a better service on Nok when they have cancelled so many flights at short notice which has never happened with lion. stoneyboy
Service on Nok Air far better When their flights actually depart maybe so. Currently they aren't doing much to better their reputation, what sort of airline doesn't have enough pilots.
KhunBENQ
Can't help. If I had the choice I would fly AirAsia from DMK or Thai Smile from BKK. Unfortunately only two AirAsia flights daily. Five flights from BKK,

Its a very short flight also so why spend additional money...
ding
Nok Air sent us an SMS stated that our flight was delayed 2 hours. We got there and they said we missed our flight - original time! They just shrugged when we showed them the text and refused to get a manager. We missed our Thai Village wedding and the whole village was not happy with us and very drunk by the time we arrived. Nok Air no care. Edited April 23, 2016 by ding
Asheron
Used them once (Ubon-BKK-Ubon) and have no remarks compared to the other low priced carriers, it's basicly "air Asia" or "Nok air" but different colors.
matta330
Although Thai Lion has not had any incidents, the parent Lion Air in Indonesia has one of the worst safety records in the world. http://www.jacdec.de/airline-safety-ranking-2015/ I tell my family and friends to stay away from them as well as Orient Thai/1-2-Go. tartempion
Booked Thai Lion Air Udon-DMK return yesterday for 3 pax at 3600B, difficult to get it any cheaper. We flew them in March also, first flight was delayed by 1 hour, new B737/900 cramped, B737/800 on the return segment OK.

What a delightful thing to read considering I have a flight with them to Bangkok this Saturday evening. Although I've used them twice before - both flights were comfortable and on-time. At 800THB (same price as a ten hour bus), can't really go wrong. (I hope)

KhunBENQ
I fully agree with the previous post Cross your fingers that the storms are over and the weather is fine. That's what the fair weather pilots manage OK
