Question about traveling out of Thailand while on ED Visa

Featured Replies

I will be applying for ED visa soon(Will be learning 400 hours of course for 1 year) in knowledge school bangkok.

Following is my plan of stay in Thailand on ED Visa

June, July Aug - Thailand

Sept - Come back to my home country

Oct Nov Dec - Thailand

Jan - Come back to my home country

Feb March April - Thailand

May - Come back to my Home country

~~~ End of the 1 year course
So I wanted to know if its alright to leave the country every 3 months like this? I want to visit my family atleast thrice a year for atleast a month. Will immigration have a problem with that? What if I get extension at the end of Aug? How do I manage that? I am a bit confused about the extension part
PS: I am from India
Your plan involves a maximum of nine months availability for study.
You would be best advised asking the school if they could/would support you on that basis.
You should be aware that Immigration are very strict about people adhering to a planned course of study and there is no guarantee that extensions of 90 days would be offered.
Are you planning to apply for a single-entry non-Ed visa or a multiple-entry non-Ed visa?
The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
The OP is from India and may have difficulty securing anything other than a single entry visa.
Depends. If its studying thai language u have no chance. University its probably ok.
