AirAsia new routes, Khon Kaen - Hat Yai and - Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

AirAsia starts new routes between Khon Kaen and Hat Yai and Khon Kaen to Chiang Mai.

KKC 09:20h - HDY 11:20h
HDY 11:50h - KKC 13:50h

CNX 07:00h - KKC 08:10h
KKC 14:20h - CNX 15:40h

Flights start on Thursday April 28 (according to the booking site).

Good to see that more inter provincial traffic develops without the often ridiculous detour via Bangkok.

Khon Kaen to Utapao and back, maybe.

Like Kan air tried before it was blocked.

Why?

How?

If I knew.

Last talk was that the flights did not have a permission.

But from my own one time experience (KKC to UTP) with 7 passengers on board of a 63 seater I have another idea.

As an expat I am disappointed about the route selection to Hat Yai.

I will not be a customer.

They must know a market for this route that I can not imagine.

Surat Thani, Phuket, U-Tapao would be for me.

The return time from Chiang Mai is ridiculous, 7.00am !

Taking into account check in time, and travelling to the airport, I cannot see it being very popular.

Yeah Khon Kaen,, can't wait, where do i book.
