The article is an amateurish piece of journalism from almost a one man band website. All written by a dude called Jacob Maslow who obviously knows freak all about Thailand. From the website....

Looks as if they scooped that photo from another website and photoshoped it onto a backdrop of Thailand.

Big P is the major factor in the increase in tourism. The poor are lowering their prices to survive the wrath of the elite thus creating a tourist bubble.
