Fatal airstrikes destroy hospital in the Syrian city of Aleppo

ALEPPO, SYRIA -- At least 30 people have been killed after a series of airstrikes hit a hospital in the rebel-held area of the disputed Syrian city of Aleppo.

The dead included one of the few pediatricians remaining in the city’s opposition-held areas and a dentist, activists said.

The Syrian Civil Defence volunteers, whose members attended the carnage, said the al-Quds hospital was hit by four consecutive airstrikes.

And some still voice support for Assad and Russia's backing of him. Hmmmm....

Couldn't have been Russians. It would have been mentioned.

Maybe "friendly fire" from the allied forces or from the moderate oppositional rebell groups.

Next question: was it air strikes or just ground to ground missiles ?

Russian's have been blamed for attacks like this in the past. Some don't get reported as there are no reporters allowed! Thanks to Assad.

Definitely not friendly fire. It was a barrel bomb, something the US doesn't use. And rebels have no airplanes.

It was airstrikes, as reported in the article. Only Russia and Syria are bombing in this area. Though Russia is trying to blame the US. LOL

Dear friend, you are indoctrinated by the Western propaganda that speaks of achieving target (terrorist leader) for his own shots but still quoting hospital in flames when it was the Russians.

I don't understand your post. But saying this is Western propaganda is not true. A hospital was bombed, in an area actively being bombed by Syrian planes with Russian Support. All media is reporting this, even Russian.

The bombing of a hospital is a crime against humanity and cannot ever be allowed.

Mr. moon and your cocktail drinking bunch at the UN, get of your behinds and do what you have been elected to do and bring the "bombers" to justice in The Hague.

ICC is not associated with or a party to the UN system, it was established by the Rome Statute.

Yet again a MSF supported facility hit with three doctors murdered, a bit more detail on the attack...

Where did it say Assad or Russia bombed them? As I recall it was the USA that bombed a hospital a few months ago. What did you have to say about that? Hmmmmm...

I searched the net for some info on this bombing. Every media outlet is saying it was Syrian planes. But possibly, Russian. As they are both actively bombing that area. Coalition forces are not. They are a bit north of this area.
