Chao Lao Beach
Hi, we are looking to export a dog and Cat to Oz, the first part is to get them micro chipped. I have been told to make sure it is not a Thai micro chip. I was told (and I don't know if true) that the ones used in western countries cost to much and that Thai vets use some cheaper one that most readers around the world can't read. Spoken to two vets who don't know about this. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this ?
Chao Lao Beach
here is the reference of the actual requirements: "Cats must be identified by a microchip that can be read by an Avid, Trovan, Destron or other ISO compatible reader."

Ausladyinpatong
My 3 fur kids were microchipped here in Phuket and on the certificate it says that it is an ISO international Standard Microchip number, the brand is PETtrac Thai.
