Thai made Samsung Top Loading Washing machine product recalls

In Australia 6 models of Samsung top loading washing machines have been subjected to product recalls because there have been many instances of them catching fire. Hundreds of thousands of machines right across the continent are involved.

OK, this is in Australia (I think New Zealand have a similar problem) but the thing is, these machines were manufactured here in Thailand between 2010 and 2013.

Whilst specific model numbers have been widely published by Samsung in Australia, it does raise the question (for me) as to whether my Samsung machine here in Thailand is also at risk. OK, the model number of mine is not on their target list, but who is to know if the model numbers are the same in Thailand as in Australia?

I'm simple asking the question as to whether anybody has heard of any such problems in Thailand with Samsung washing machines. I have emailed the question to the relevant Samsung product recall address, but so far I have heard nothing. My guess is that as I am not in Australia, I don't really matter.
