May 7, 201610 yr His current Non O visa remains valid until its expiry. I assume the children have Thai nationality, and he is the father. In general, he can do the same as in the past, but substituting his children for his wife. The documentation for getting the visa is probably a little different. The 60-day extensions should not be a problem.

If he didn't qualify for that, and was using some sort of backhanded visa route - Multi-entry Savannakhet non-O based on marriage without proof of funds, for example, he won't.

May 7, 201610 yr No he would still need to go out, if he had the appropriate funds he could apply for an extension, this would mean every 90 days reporting but without leaving Thailand

During the last 30 days of his 90 day permitted to stay he needs to apply for an extension of stay based on support of his children at the local immigration office.

Nong Khai Immigration offer him some solution that he have to show/Kepp 400,000 THB at his Bank Account for 2 month, and then he will get some 1 year visa or somthing like that, The problem is all his money savings go to private hospitals to try save his wife sed story

He will have to continue obtaining a visa from Savannakhet which will require he makes regular trips to the border for new 90 day entries. The total number of trips can be minimised by applying for a 60 day extension for each 90 day entry made.
May 7, 201610 yr Popular Post Can he show 100,000 baht in the bank? If so, he can get a multiple Non O based on having a Thai child from Penang. Possibly, as the sole surviving parent, he might be able to do so in Savannakhet without financial proof. He would need to take his kids there with him. He should look for every possible avenue to avoid simply going on overstay. The consequences of doing that could be dire. Good luck to him. Life can be very unfair.
