There's another guy overseas who they've been trying to get into court for years... so if that's any example to go by then...

Other than the fact the RB guy has been in an out of Thailand at least up until March this year.

Do you drink with him or something?

We have a couple of mutual friends.

Well aren't you the connected one!

They dont want him back.Bail is an excellent way of getting someone like him off their backs. They dont want to cancel his passport. They want him to travel, and as far away as possible. It will save the embarrassment of having to arrest him,the farce of a trial and the public outcry when his crimes are reduced to negligent driving. They wouldnt dare cross swords with this family. just imagine how many cops and judges would be in that place, that no one knows where it is,called 'inactive post' Has Interpol been asked to try to assess his whereabouts? No!they just dont want to know, they are better off with him being as far away from them as possible.Even if he has been back in the country, they know it,of course they do,but they dont advertise it.

This scum is away and free, and face is saved all round by the authorities saying they dont know where he is,but he is still wanted, and a warrant will be executed upon his return. The cops family has probably been well compensated over this, because i dont hear about them being up in arms and wanting justice.even after 4 years.

An op said that killers should not be given bail, and he is quite correct. But in this country and when occasions like this arise. Its the best thing the cos can do.

Raise your hand if you think he'll show up. At times like this I wonder why the police want to lose face as they know he won't show up. As mentioned earlier, it must be about the envelopes.

Two reasons. First if he doesnt appear then they can get an arrest warrant and secondly he can be charged with ignoring a court order

Lol, and then what? Even Joe Public must take the actual Arrest Warrant themselves to the perp's local police station and pay them to go and arrest aforesaid, secure in the knowledge that the police will ask the perp to up the ante and thence set them free. As for the Court and their monopoly money pretend 'Orders'?? Don't make me laugh ..
