paulinbkk111
Anyone had experience sending a CBR300 to Australia? Love mine but moving back soon and not sure to sell or try and bring it over. Personal use, had for over 1 year. Any help is appreciated!

saorsa
I know guys who shipped bikes to Oz from Singapore when their contracts finished here...no major hassle so long as you have owned it for 12 months or more. I would assume it is the same for Thailand to Oz.
pod8460
I did it 10 years ago and with motobike you must get a import cert (not sure if that is correct name) from Australia before the bike arrives or it will not be released. You will be up for a storage fee if this happens and it's very expensive. The document can take a month. I learnt this the hard way and couldn't collect my bikes. the fees for storage added up to the value of the bikes. If the bike is not a model sold in aus then you would be up for a fee for a compliance plate assessment. My advice is do your homework befor you send it to see if it's worth the cost.
