BANGKOK, 9 May 2016 (NNT) - An special event has been organized in Bangkok to promote Thailand’s and Southeast Asia’s aviation industry.

The Aerospace Industry Association of Thailand has joined Skytouch (Thailand) Company Limited in organizing the Thailand Aviation Expo 2016 at Queen Sirikit Convention Center.

At the official opening of the event on May 7, Permanent Secretary of the Transport Ministry Chartchai Tipsunave, who chaired the ceremony, said that the aviation industry, particularly in the Southeast Asian region, has seen strong growth to the point that it is in need of more personnel.

Mr. Chartchai noted that the Thailand Aviation Expo 2016 is an opportunity to offer information, inspire, boost vision and promote the Thai aviation industry, especially among the target group that includes youth, students and members of the public with a particular interest in the industry.

Throughout the two-day event, ending Sunday May 8, aviation professionals have united to share their experiences and knowledge of aviation to help over 30 industry-related booths recruit new personnel to the exciting aviation industry in the S/E Asian region.

Will 1 2 crash be there? w00t.gif

Aviation in Thailand is FUBAR at every level.

send all the new recruits to Korat airport,

and see if the enthusiasm continues

with no planes landing,

to satisfy and " boost their vision"

maybe they could set up

an indoor soccer tournement inside the arrival hall / departure hall.

Possibly, but there will be a sales stand for some second hand Airbus A340s. albeit without maintenance logs...

All visitor were presented with a "red flag" as a momento of their visit and as a.reminder just where Thai aviation stands internationally.

"Same Same But Different" spare parts anyone?
