Questions re Annual Car/Motorcycle Renewal

Recommended Posts

1. Can this be done in advance of the stated expiry date, and if so, how many days in advance ?

2. If the answer to # 1 is "no", can it be done in a different province ? If yes, is there anything that needs to be done in the former province of registration before moving ?

Can do in advance and can do in any province. Had a Bangkok car for many years and lived in Korat and never had a problem. You do not have to go to the Transportation office yourself. I have a One Stop counter service near my house and the guy there goes to the Transportation office. Charges me a couple hundred baht and I have my renewal the next day and I don't have to wait in line at the Transportation office.
