Today's Worst Disease

Featured Replies

Just had 14 year old niece stay with us for 2 weeks, never saw her once without a phone in her hand. Take to restaurant- doo phone, concert doo phone, all day from time she got up until bedtime. Meals usually phone and laptop on the table as well, girl is like a zombie, no problem to look after just never talks moves or does anything other than interact with phone and laptop 24/7 not healthy at all. The only time I saw her speak or move fast was when the internet went off

and they are the generation we one day have to pay to look after our decaying bodies...

hope i die before.

Shop workers are not much better, half on them are on the phones all day, big c probably the worst for that, they could sack most of them and nothing would change.

syphylogonoherpleaids might be worse....

Absolutely 100% spot on.

Went out for a Family Diner (we paid), and most of the Family, instead of talking to each other were "playing" on their phones.

The wife got annoyed and said "Who is playing on their phones has to pay for their own dinner" that stopped that and from then on we had a great time biggrin.png

I agree, having a decayed body whilst alive would be quite unpleasant.

Try telling younger people, that we got on with our daily lives without Smartphones, and all you get is an 'are you serious ?' look.

Is puberty part of this "decay" process?

In the case of children you have to question the parents simple as that.

If you don't let them have it how can they be on it 24/7 had the issue myself with my daughter who is only just 3,give her the iPad to play and on and she is fine want to take it away or do something else she plays up,simple solution she no longer has it.
