I don't like Piers Morgan, so I don't read anything he writes or anything about him.

So many don't like Mourinho, yet hang on every word he says...................

oh on the contrary. i just wish he'd shut the <deleted> up.

it'd also be nice if the press would stop treating him like he's some kind of benevolent oracle.

Well, if all the other managers weren't so bland, maybe the press wouldn't.

In the last few weeks we have had the 'little horse' and the 'specialist in failure'. Both great sound bites. From other managers we get, 'we were unlucky', 'one game at a time' and other well worn clichès. Jose gives quotes that inspire or infuriate. The others just talk the same old <deleted>.

well i suppose one man's "great soundbites" is another's tedious, self-regarding, self-promotional, offensive <deleted> really. i'll take bland soundbites every time over this boring 'mind games' garbage. might help if journalists actually did their jobs and held him to account for the crap he spouts instead of gratefully lapping it up like a bunch of worshipful sycophants.

What is a journos job? Bottom line is to get people to read their stuff. Forget truth and integrity, that died a long time ago. That is why they love him, because even those that hate him will read it.

journo's job is to ask questions and write up what they believe is the truth of the story. just re-publishing his scripted and agenda-driven PR soundbites isn't journalism.

How are those pink fluffy clouds in Lalaland?

In all honesty I don't think what Jose says is scripted. He is just a wind up merchant. I don't believe for one minute even he even believes what he says, he just rambles on and the journos love it, the haters hate it and the lovers (oo-er) love it. To him I think it is a sideshow, which in all fairness it is. All that really matters is what happens on the pitch.

In all honesty what is the point of the interviews? There isn't any real insight to the game. I'm sure most of us on here after watching a game can second guess what the managers and players are going to say.

If journos want to do a feature piece that is different, but this interview after every time someone flushes a toilet is pointless.

I used to like Mourinho but this time round he's getting a bit tiresome. The way he is slagging off other managers at the moment is pretty disrespectful. In particular, the comments he made about Wenger being a specialist at losing was uncalled for.

Now where did i put that box of tissues..................Oh thats right i don,t have any.laugh.png

I bet you've found them now tongue.png

If we had hit the wordwork 3 or 4 times had a couple of dead cart pens turned down, then maybe .....but we got out of the game exactly what we put into it.......uck all. No complaints no tears.

I you have by now seen Wengers response in his press conference you'll already know he's making Mourinho look a right clown. Theres been nothing clever, "inspirational" or any so called mind games on Mourinho's part. Just piss poor behaviour and muck stirring from a self adoring, arrogant, classless twit.

Oh Carmine, we know how much you love Mourinho. Wenger starts by slating Chelsea and Mourinho is the muck stirrer. Ha ha ha. I think you are a bigger WUM than Mourinho.

If Wenger really wanted to defuse the situation he would have told the interviewer he doesn't want to talk about it. But no, he has another dig. Both are trying to wind each other up, they just have different tactics.

Thats not really how i saw and heard it but if thats your opinion then fair enough. The guy just comes across to me as a horrid little bloke but if he gives as much to charity as you say then he can't be all that bad i supposesmile.png

Do you want to provide a quote to substantiate that before you make a bigger fool of yourself?

Are you Alfie in disguise?

I guess Arsene didn't say the title is Chelsea's to lose and Mourinho is afraid of failure........

As for the vid! Arsene says he doesn't want to talk about it.............then does. It's called passive aggressive. Why didn't he just end it? Both are playing games, just with different tactics. If you want to feel offended on Wengers behalf, knock yourself out.

No, he never once mentioned Chelsea or Mourinho, that's the point.

So stop believing all the crap you read in the papers, it's Mourinho being the graceless little prig here.

Like I said, if you can find anything to substantiate your lies absurd claims, post it.

Don't have a pop at Wenger for acting like a gentleman just because your witless manager is feeling the pressure, spouting bowlocks and making himself look a prize tool.

Who was Wenger talking about then? Just because he didn't mention a name doesn't mean he was not talking about him. I suppose you think he was talking about Moyes, do you? The journalist didn't mention a name, but it was blaady obvious who they were talking about.

Wenger a gentleman. 555555. Yes, he never says 'I didn't see it' when it was a blatant penalty.

Oh so now we are changing our tack are we?

Pfffft, why don't you just admit you got it wrong and move on.

Mourinho's the one looking the tit here. Fkin hell, even Carmine said so, and he hates Wenger.

You've lost me. No changing of tack.

I bet Carmine hates Mourinho more than Wenger.

CARMINE!!! Who do you hate more?

You're now admitting Wenger didn't name anyone. He was responding to a journalists question about managers that claim they are "not in the race" - which also did not name anyone.

Anything else and you're just as paranoid as the Special Needs One frankly.

Who was Wenger talking about? Butter wouldn't melt, huh?

Special Needs v Your guy.

5 wins, 5 draws and zero losses................and he is not a failure specialist? Birmingham, Wigan, Portsmouth and even Spurs have a more recent trophy than Arseman.

Yes, yes, all wonderful stuff I'm sure, and still you miss the point entirely.

Thank <deleted> Mourinho isn't on Twatter or we'd have to listen to his indignant squealing all week.

he doesn't need twitter, he's got metatwitter. he issues one soundbite to the press, suddenly thousands of people are retweeting his gobshitery around the world for him. doesn't even need to touch a keypad.

Well you can bet the press will be trying to goad something out of Wenger at the CL press conference. I hope he just ignores them.

But even if he made some comment about how good Bayern are, they'll probably print "Wenger taunts Mourinho that Bayern are better than Chelsea"!

That was hard work...............and in the end,the hard work and constant attacking paid off........but only just.Phewwwwwwwwwwww

Everton were superb in the first half and deserved a goal....played great defensively for the second half and were undone by Terry in the closing minutes.....shame that.
